Taking a Break!

After giving this much attention and prayer, I'm beginning to reevaluate some of the things I put energy into, namely this blog. I was hoping that with the new year I would be able to steer this thing into a new direction and not just be a copycat blogger, regurgitating information others have already posted, cut and pasting from the Orthodox Blogosphere and commenting on whatever I've decided to share. I was hoping this these posts would generate responses from my readers and we could discover together our faith as we broach current events and the relevance of ancient holy fathers on this day and age. I hoped that in so doing, I might help someone find out more about this rich heritage, our living culture, the Orthodox Christian Church. So far, for the most part, I am not so sure this is what I am doing.
Maybe this blog has been a tool to boost my ego. Quite possibly I have deluded myself into thinking that what I have to offer is somehow different than what other more popular bloggers have and on this account I believe I have been to be sorely wrong.

Is this my last post? Maybe. I don't know.

What I am aware of is that there are better resources than this blog to discover the church of Christ. Any browser search on the words Orthodox Christian will attest to this.

So while I ponder the fate of this blog, those of you who frequent this thing will find this post. I hope that the Hairshirt Agenda has edified your spirits and uplifted your walk towards the truth. Please forgive me if I have ever offended anyone and please understand that as a husband and father of three, a struggling Christian and someone aspiring to one day serve as a deacon, life is busy and finding a balance for all these thing requires great prayer and effort, traits which I have not mastered at all.
I ask for your prayers and patience as I try to sort all this out. May God bless you all.
